"My Life as a Bird" is a radical performance in which I tattoo a line crossing my chest. The tattoo gun is linked to the video-projection, when the gun is on, the following text appears on the screen:

"Do you think I'm beautiful?
Do you like to look at me?
Do you want me to come to you apartment?
Maybe you want me?

Is it permanent?
Does it hurt?
It looks bad.

This is not for you.
But you can watch me.
I just want to make sure that you know.
This line is not for you."

_LAST NIGHT
2018
20 min
presented at LiVEART.US performance program "Queer'in" curated by Hector Canonge
Queens Museum, NYC, USA

"Last Night" is a performance showing a female charactor who is a predator for her lovers. Pictures extracted from "Considering the Boys" are shown from her phone, while she's telling the audience how she trapped boys in seduction techniques close to sexual assault. As she drinks telling her stories, her discourse employs dark humour to address the issues of objectification of the other.

_I got you under my skin
2016
Tattoo machine, ink, lovebite, photography

"I got you under my skin" is the permanent contouring of a lovebite. It defines permanantly the sweet details of a light love action which often disappears in a few days. The tattoo makes sense as long as there is still the lovebite in it, when the blue color disappears, the shape of it becomes abstract. It is an hommage to versatile acts of tenderness.
The serie of pictures shows the tatto being made and the vanishing of the lovebite as the time goes by.

L'absent- from Kim Doan Quoc on Vimeo.

_L'absent
10 min
In collaboration with Noreal

2014

The performance "L'absent" is a work about missing someone. Kim Doan Quoc tells a text talking about missing a person she loved. Noreal draws on her body, with a tattoo machine but no ink, a path of  caress and tenderness. He is drawing what Kim describes in the text: the feeling of the missing one's caresses. The pain made by the needle disturbs the enonciation of the text. The body sensibility, as mind's sensibility, gives strength to the words at the same time it disturbs them.

_Performer une oeuvre plastique (Performing Visual Arts)
Collective Performance
2014

Organized in collaboration with Justine Guerville, with the participation of Juliette Ducloy, Mathieu Locquet and Mona Schmidtke and the support of the association Sans Titre. The workshop took place during 5 weeks between September 2014 and February 2015 with the collaboration of the Fine Art School of Tourcoing (France) and the National Theater La Rose des Vents (France). Based on the plastic art work from each person in the group, we formulated, writing while doing, a proposition for a living piece.
